The students voted on their favorite robot book and If Your Happy and You Know It Robot book was the winner! This gave us the opportunity to recall the books and to compare numbers. Another favorite included playing the Rock'em Sock'em Robots game! We enjoyed MIP, the dancing robot, again! During gym, we did robot yoga and used special shoes to pretend to walk like a robot. To end the week we named our large robot we made out of recycled materials and listed his special powers!! Each child named a different special power. (goals: taking turns, comparing numbers, recognizing numbers, following 2 step directions, voice volume, confident behavior)
Our letter this week was Z for zebra. We went over the sound and thought of things that start with the letter Z. During our last 2nd Steps lesson we reviewed all the skills we learned this year!!
